About ABC

President Michael
Michael is in the International Baccalaureate Program and the Gifted And Talented Education Program.  Michael is accelerated in Mathematics and Science, and is also working towards a Professional Development in the Arts Certificate.  His large amount of business and leadership experience makes him highly qualified for the Presidency position. 

Vice President of Human Resources Daria
Daria looks forward to interacting with everyone and ensuring a healthy and successful company through teamwork. Being on the executive team of the Environment Club, she is used to completing many projects by co-operating with fellow co-workers. She also founded the Social Justice Club at her school, where she is the president. Her experience in administrative work and leadership make her qualified for her role at ABC.

Vice President of Marketing & Sales Jay
This is Jay’s second year at Junior Achievement.  Jay is an active member of the Junior Achievement ambassador group, which promotes and represents Junior Achievement across Calgary. Jay is a competitive debater, and will be competing in the North American debate championship this November. Jay is outgoing and enthusiastic, and is dedicated to the JA program.

Vice President of Finance Shubham
Shubham is a talented public speaker and has enthusiastic participated and gained victory in various Speech Tournaments. He comes to the company with leadership experience that he has gained from his previous school. He enjoys participating in Debate Tournaments and Model UN. He looks at this opportunity as a chance to make best use of his talent and get onto the path of being a successful future businessman.

Vice President of Production Christine 
This is Christine’s first year in involvement of junior achievement; she was excited about starting after her sister’s years with it and was very interested in learning more about the process that goes through a company. She helps challenge herself daily by being involved in the AP program. She has also developed other skills from other endeavors she has taken in the past year such as volunteering at red hat society meetings at a senior citizen facility, volunteering at a preschool on any PD days, working at Canyon Meadows Cinemas, and emceeing her grade nine farewell.

Vice President of Information Technology Services Daniel  
As a online homeschooler Daniel spends a vast amount of the day on his computers either fixing or breaking them or even a little of both. This is his third year in Junior Achievement Company Program and his second time as Vice President of Information Technology. His experience with websites is extensive, ranging from his personal site to sites with up to a thousand visitors a week. He also has a extensive knowledge regarding computer hardware having built and fixed more than his fair share of computers.
